How to disable geolocation services in mac safari
Safari 5, among many new features, introduced location services. When you visit a geolocation-enabled (location-aware) web site, safari 5 asks your permission to allow the website collect your location information – GPS latitude and longitude. You can click Don’t Allow or Allow.
What if you don’t want to use location service at all?
To disable location services only in Safari 5
Safari > Preferences > Security > Location Services . Uncheck ‘Allow websites to ask for location information’

To disable location services in mac osx v10.6
System Preferences > Security > Check ‘Disable Location Service’
